1. Application of this policy

This policy applies to clients and authorised users accessing websites, accounts, platforms, electronic systems or other digital services provided or managed by Australian Alliance Marketing (“we”, “us” or “our”).

These are referred to collectively as “our systems” in this policy.

2. Purpose

This policy helps protect our clients, users, suppliers and systems from unlawful activity, misuse and security threats. It should be read alongside your service agreement and our Privacy Policy.

3. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for their own business activities and for ensuring that their authorised users use our systems responsibly.

This includes:

These responsibilities do not exclude our own obligations under applicable law or your service agreement.

4. Lawful and responsible use

You must use our systems lawfully and in a way that respects the rights, privacy and safety of others.

You must not use our systems to:

5. Intellectual property

You must have the necessary rights, licences or permissions for material you upload, publish, share or ask us to use.

You must not use our systems to infringe copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights. You must not remove ownership notices without permission or another lawful basis.

6. Security and system integrity

You must not:

7. Third-party platforms

Where services involve third-party platforms, you must also comply with the applicable platform rules and terms.

We do not control third-party platforms or their decisions. Any assistance we provide with platform restrictions or account issues will be subject to your service agreement.

8. Responding to breaches

If we reasonably believe that this policy has been breached, we may investigate and take proportionate action to protect affected people and systems.

Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it.

Immediate restrictions or suspension may be necessary where there is a serious security threat, unlawful activity, a legal requirement or an urgent risk of harm.

Termination may occur for serious or repeated breaches, or where a material breach remains unresolved after reasonable notice, subject to your service agreement and applicable law.

You must reasonably cooperate with steps needed to investigate a breach and prevent further harm.

9. Legal rights and responsibilities

Each party remains responsible for its own acts and omissions in accordance with applicable law and the service agreement.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, security requirements or applicable laws.

We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting existing clients. Where an urgent change is necessary for legal or security reasons, we will provide notice as soon as reasonably practicable.

Changes will not apply retrospectively. If a change materially disadvantages you, you may contact us to discuss the change and, if it cannot reasonably be resolved, end the affected service without an additional termination penalty. Charges for services already supplied remain payable.
